Honda seats from 1992-2011 All have the same issue: The front seat bushings. These are the bushings that allow for the seat to adjust and over time depending on the size of the drivers and how you drive these bushings wear out and it makes for a seat that doesn’t really move but has that little rock too it. Its more prominent in the driver’s seat because that is the seat used most but can happen to the passenger seat. There are DIY to tighten things and put washer in but there is only 1 fix. Replace the bushings but these bushings are hard to get and are often in back order because they are used in SO many models of Honda from the CRV to the Element, Accord, TSX, RSX, Civic, Pilot, Ridgeline, Passport all of them us the same bushings in the front.
The repair is simple. Unbolt the seat, unplug the accessory plugs to it (disconnect the battery if you have seat airbags) and remove 4 bolts and replace the bushings. There are 2 on each side on the front and one in the back of each side so you need 6 total per seat. This is for enough OEM Honda seat bushings for 1 seat. If you want to do 2 seats, be sure to order 2 total.
