Honda Element Automatic Transmission Service Kit OEM

When it comes to Honda Automatic transmissions Honda ATF is king. But what many people do not know is that there is an actual transmission filter on Honda Element Automatic vehicles. This kit includes all the OEM Honda fluid for a service (drain and fill) 3.3 quarts (vs 7.3 for a complete transmission overhaul) and the OEM Honda Transmission filter along with the two crush washers for the drain and fill plugs.
The filter is located front and center of the radiator support. You can get it from the bottom but it’s a pain. The best option is to pull the radiator and drain and fill everything. You can also install one of our transmission cooler kits at the same time so you can put in 3.5 quarts to make up for the extra capacity.

Be aware that many of them OEM parts you see on eBay and Amazon are not OEM parts. If the price is too good the price is too good. You can also tell by the packaging OEM parts do not come in bubble plastic and most of the parts come in boxes and tinted bags not clear bags.
