For local customers, we offer in-house engine rebuild services. Bring your vehicle to our shop, and we’ll handle the entire process from diagnostics to installation and do any other repairs needed while the engine is out of the vehicle. Need a clutch? new engine mounts? new axles? We got you covered with no extra labor charge since we remove and install these parts as part of the service. Note: not all parts are covered by this policy.
Nationwide Engine Rebuilds
If you’re not local, don’t worry! Famspec Performance also provides nationwide engine rebuild services. Simply ship your engine to us, and we’ll take care of the rest. Our team will meticulously rebuild your engine using OEM parts and send it back to you, ready to install. We ensure that the shipping process is secure and efficient, minimizing downtime for you. WE have cores for most engines on hand so you can pay for a core engine for rebuild rather than ship your engine to us first and we can refund that core if you ship your old engine back to us.
Shipping for a longblock is typically $350 to $800 depending on how far away you are.
The Rebuild Process:

2. Disassembly: The engine is carefully disassembled, and all components are evaluated for wear and damage.
3. Rebuilding: We replace worn parts with OEM or OEM+ replacements, ensuring everything meets factory specifications. We also use the best machine shops to inspect and repair crankshafts and bore/hone/deck cylinder blocks insuring proper sealing and wear. Every cylinder head gets a a surface, new valve stem seals, and typically a full valve job, something many shops skimp on.
4. Reassembly: After the machine process and measurements are taken, we reassemble the engine, conducting rigorous testing to ensure it meets our standards and will stand up to the test of time.
5. Final Inspection: Before shipping or installation, we perform a final inspection to confirm everything is in top condition.
