Installation Notes:
- Required Spring Bases: When installing in 2006 and later K Series engines, you must use Skunk2 Spring Bases (PN 312-05-0010) as these engines come with single springs, which are not compatible with aftermarket or OEM dual springs.
- Titanium Retainers and Keepers: When using Skunk2 Titanium Retainers on 2004 and newer engines, pre-2004 locks (keepers/cotters) must be used. Pre-2004 keepers can be identified by the absence of laser-etched marks along the top edge. Using improper retainers and/or locks can result in serious engine damage.
- Compatibility with F20C/F22C Engines: These springs can also be installed in F20C/F22C engines using the specified spring bases.
